I was born and raised in the city, and I still work here as a graphic designer at a mid-sized company. On weekdays I ride an electric scooter to the office because it is faster than traffic and it fits the way I live. On weekends I switch to an electric bike and head for long rides on suburban paths and mountain trails. I brew coffee before sunrise, pour it in a thermos, and start rolling while the streets are quiet.
Why I built Electric Pedaling
Five years ago I tried my first electric ride and it changed how I move. I felt the rush of a tailwind, the control of good brakes, and the calm of skipping a crowded bus. Since then I have tested many e-bikes and e-scooters to learn what really matters. I do not own an electric car yet. City life and a budget that keeps me grounded make micromobility the practical choice. I care deeply about cleaner air and safer streets, and I want this site to help more riders choose options that are better for people and the planet.
